2015 Taeyang World Tour Rise In
Malaysia

K-Pop fans rejoice! Taeyang, member of
Korean super-band BIGBANG, will hold
his first ever world tour in Malaysia this
month. With the success of his second
solo album
(RISE)
, the talented singer
cemented his status as K-Pop’s power-
house performer by winning awards like
Best Vocal Performance Male, Best Male
Artist and Song of the Year. His first solo
tour kicked off on Aug 12 last year in
Japan, touring six cities with 13 concerts
which had an audience of about 70,000
spectators. Taeyang is looking to repeat
the same success here in this side of the
region. Tickets are priced at between
RM599 and RM199.
Dance Dance Asia – Crossing the
Movements (Dance & Workshop)

Since it was introduced in Japan in the
1970s, street dance has become one of the
most popular dance genres. The number
of dance studios and practitioners has
increased significantly. Gaining the
momentum of these movements, The
Japan Foundation Asia Center and PARCO
Co., Ltd., will together initiate the Dance
Dance Asia project to foster the original
production in the theatre based on and
inspired by street dance in Asia. The event
will feature performances by Wrecking
Crew Orchestra, Time Machine and Blue
Tokyo along with daytime workshop
slots. The show tickets are priced at
RM43, while the workshops require RM10
fees per slot or RM60 for all workshops.
