Brazilian flair. One of the biggest and
wildest parties in the world consists
of samba music, elaborate costumes,
dancing and massive parades. The whole
celebration is centred around samba
troupes looking to out dance each other,
however you’d need to fork out some
money for this. If you’re looking for a
FREE alternative, just join the masses on
the streets. Sashay your way through a
frantic, noisy and sweaty party that you’ll
thoroughly enjoy. Leave your precious
items and inhibitions at home and get
ready to lose control to the beats of Rio.
The Songkran Water Festival
When: April 13–15
Where: ChiangMai,Thailand
If you’re looking for the ultimate water fight head straight to Thailand. Pack up your
balloons or water guns and get ready to be torrentially soaked. Your wet and wild
adventure starts with rowdy Thais and crazy amounts of water during one of the hottest
times of the year. To celebrate the Thai New Year, the water fight was born and not
even the cops are free from being super soaked. You’ll spot the occasional elephant
splashing off jets of water with their trunks. Sometimes the water is mixed with some
menthol for an extra cooling sensation. So if you’re in the mood for some water action,
this is your kind of celebration.
Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras, the infamous party of the
year, that’s simply not to be missed. Come
experience magic, mayhem and music. With
a reputation that precedes itself, it’s pretty
much a time to get buck wild and blackout
drunk. Thousands of people walk the streets
barhopping, drinking and mingling. Expect
to see some unmentionables being paraded
for strings of coloured beads. Bourbon street
is crazy and will stay crazy 24/7, marching
band after marching band; tooting horns, bars
inviting you in for free drinks and mystical
voodoo stores make for a party-goers dream
destination. Be prepared for some serious
partying.
