(PKNS), has flourished
into a full-fledged MICE
venue since its opening in
2009. The person responsible in bringing
SACC to the level that it is today is its
CEO Shuhainie Shamsudin. Shuhainie
oversaw the entire process of setting up
SACC amidst the rise of MICE in Malaysia
six years ago.
“I was invited to help in officially
setting up the business. It was a very
exciting time since MICE was still quite
new in Malaysia, particularly Shah Alam
which is widely known as an industrial
city. PKNS saw the opportunity and
jumped onto the bandwagon. Coming
froma service and hospitality background,
I was looking forward to marketing and
introducing the SACC since most events at
that time took place in other neighbouring
cities,” says Shuhainie when asked about
the beginning of SACC.
