left me excited excited about breakfast.
We were served

“The water in the resort is chlorine
free as it comes from the mountains and
we did underground piping and the water
goes through a filtering system before it is
pumped out,” said Datuk Tuan Hashim.
Activities
For those who don’t want to just veg
around in the resort or in the river, Sailor’s
Rest Resort can arrange activities such as
traditional archery, paintball shooting,
ATV, jungle trekking to the waterfall and
many more. If you come in groups or as
a company retreat, team building and

beauty of the boathouse.
In the boathouse, there were two chairs
with a table at the head of the boat where
one can have a cup of tea or coffee and
enjoy watching people fishing by the
lake. As I opened the door, I saw the
furniture in the boathouse was simply
exquisite. A gold living room set greeted
me and as I walked inside the boathouse,
I found a Queen bed, a TV as well as a
dresser and another sofa by the window.
To my surprise, the boathouse also had a
small pantry and an awesome spacious
bathroom.
After checking out the boathouse, I
was given a tour of the rest of the accom-
modations. What is great about Sailor’s
Rest Resort is that it caters to every type
of accommodation – tent, kampung chalet
and modern chalet.
The food
The tour of Sailor’s Rest Resort ended up
withme dippingmy feet into the river. The
water was cold and refreshing. Night came
and dinner was served – it was a BBQwith
the usual dishes like chicken, beef, lamb
