ydra
Band is one of
the most celebrated
and most loved bands
on the music scene.
Starting off their career
by being a pub band,
Hydra gained a lot of
buzz soon after and this quintet stormed
the music scene with the release of their
single back in 2013. Hydra covers classic
rock ballads with an original twist. Not
only that, Hydra receives international
as well as local invites to perform – from
Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore andmany
member band the name illuminated how
we were, five different heads but unified
in one body: agile, striking and powerful!

The band consists of lead singer and
founder of the band Lan (Sayed Sahlan
Sayed Hamid), co – founder and bassist
Boy (Mohd Faizul Azril bin Isa), lead
guitarist Gbeng (Mod Fadzil bin Abdul
Wahab), keyboardist Jezz (Jezzriq bin
Eddie Kismilardy) and drummer Aizat
(Ahmad Aizad bin Mohamed Fauzi). The

Whydidyouguys decide to forma band?
In the 80’s and 90’s the popular thing to do
was to forma band. Most songs amusician
tried to cover required a full sound, i.e. the
band sound. Places of hire also looked out

WhyHydra?
Hydra in Greek mythology has a refer-
ence to a five headed snake. Being a five
