all nature lovers, located in the suburb

nature’s jungle, this institute is a leader in
flora and fauna research both in Malaysia
and abroad. A little piece of paradise
sticking out like a green thumb amidst the
vast advancements.
Six hundred hectares of tropical glory
with an abundance of trees, flowers and
little creatures, FRIM is the government
agency in charge of the conservation and
preservation of Malaysian Rainforests.
There are approximately 15,000 species of
plants on site. So, before you go off on your
adventure, pick-up a few brochures, just
so you know what kind of leaves you’re
brushing up against. A case of poison ivy
is not the ideal thing to get.
The trails are easy to follow, but if you
would rather have a guided tour, make the
appropriate arrangements. You could still
do it on your own as brochures and maps
are available at the information counter.
Make sure to come prepared – proper
footwear, lotions, bug spray andwater- are
an absolute must.
