es (GBS) Forum event
series is intended to cre-
ate a solid and neutral
platform together with
public and private play-
ers and stakeholders to
enable the business community in the
ASEAN region to gather and discuss on
global business services trends and shifts
in business technology.
Present at the series’ inaugural event
on June 11 were 200 C-Levels from across
the region.
The first event focused on the topic
“Disruptive Technology in the Sourcing
World”, which saw a line-up of expert
speakers, panel sessions and discussions
to impart best practice strategies as well as
meeting potential business opportunities.
Some of the esteemed organisations
that attended the June 11 event included
UK Trade Commission, HP, AMD, Somalia
Embassy, QuintWellington Redwood, KPJ,
Singapore TourismBoard, Invest Northern
Ireland, Air Asia, Frost & Sullivan, MDeC,
Atos Origin, Hitachi Sunway, CSC, DHL,
The next event of the regional GBS
serieswill focus on the BFSI (Banking,
Financial Services and Insurance) sector
and is expected to draw200 C-levels to
Kuala Lumpur on Aug 26.The following
onewill focus on the Energy sector on
