According to CEO of KPJ Tawakkal
Specialist Hospital Mohamad Farid Salim,
KPJ Senior Living Care aims to encourage
the elderly to adopt a healthy lifestyle, in
addition to helping them live their golden
years to the fullest. In keeping with this
target, several KPJ staff, including Mo-
hamad Farid, spent a few months on
secondment at Jeta Gardens, a retirement
village in Australia in which KPJ holds a
significant share to gain more experience
and learn from the expertise over there.
What makes KPJ Senior Living Care
special is the fact that it does not have
the typical hospital-like environment of
other centre. This is to ensure that the
senior citizens feel comfortable and safe
physically and medically. In providing the
residents with conducive and fulfilling
lifestyle, KPJ Senior Living Care is trying
their best to offers activities such as
gardening, singing and shopping to suit
their interest at their advanced stage of
life.
With 42 beds currently available,
KPJ Senior Living Care is continuously
striving to better serve the elderly even
