construction in 1882 and has only just
reached its halfway mark.
Art lovers can have a ball in Barcelona,
the birthplace of Gaudi, Dalí, and Miró
among others. Picasso also spent his for-
mative years in the city, and his creative
exploits from the time can be admired at
the ever-popular Picasso Museum. Set
within the five medieval stone mansions,
Picasso’s collection showcases the artist’s
formative years, which were spent in the
city, housing over 3,500 paintings.

more than a necessity in Barcelona,
and Catalonia’s capital is renowned for
the range and creativity of the edibles

street stalls to fine dining restaurant and

foodies can enjoy the authentic and
