Love in Forbidden City
, an original adaptation of
Romeo and Juliet. The play turns the romantic tragedy
set in the Italian Renaissance to a tragicomedy set in
turn-of-the-century feudal China, where a cultural
clash between the westernized House of Chiu and the
feudalist House of Lo becomes the wedge between our
star-crossed lovers.
