UK-based Mural Artist To The
Stars Paints World’s First Angel
Diamond & Gold Leaf “Baby Bump”

Malaysian-born United Kingdom based
mural artist to the stars, Annie Newman,
was in Kuala Lumpur at an exclusive event
to create magic on expectant mum to be,
Estee Leong. Newman is no stranger to
making the ordinary look extraordinary,
which is evident in her mural paintings
at David & Victoria Beckham’s home and
Datuk Jimmy Choo’s couture boutique
in London.
The artist was in town at the invitation
of
LiFE Ribbon Community
, a gathering
of like-minded women founded by Estee
Leong, to share knowledge and support
by creating a positive environment for
other women through the “double H”
focus - health and happiness, both physi-
cally and mentally.
During the private event at Leong’s
residence, Newman painted a range of
beautiful orchids on the beauty entre-
preneur’s stomach which she disclosed
symbolises purity and fertility. Eight

The Row Launches Newly Completed
North Block
Urbanspace Sdn Bhd
has just
unveiled a newly completed
second phase of The Row on
Jalan Doraisamy. The new
North Block of The Row has
opened and is now home
to six retail and food &
beverage establishments.
Previously a row of
12 discrete shophouse
units, the completed
North Block departs
from the standard con-
ventional shophouse of-
fering. Its front courtyards
have been knitted together
to form an outdoor plaza,
extending Jalan Doraisamy’s
pedestrian walkway by four
metres. Dotted with trees and
with creepers climbing up canopies,
this front plaza is built to invite ten-
ants, patrons and the community to mingle
and linger. Internally, the upper floors
have been reconfigured into a variety
of interesting spaces, including
two lofts for either residential
or commercial use and a roof
terrace which overlooks Jalan
Sultan Ismail.
The Row’s new phase
also brings with it new
and exciting tenants,
which include

casual french bistro and
sister property to Maison
Francaise,
Wheel Love
Skateshop
, the popular
local skate shop and
Bac-
chus
, a wine and tapas
bar.
Since the official launch
of The Row’s first phase, in
July 2015, the development
has grown in popularity amongst
city dwellers. The last phase, also
known as the South Block, is scheduled
to be completed in the second half 2016.
Diamonds and the Tranz range 22K gold
leaves completed the spectacular artwork.

has travelled halfway round the world
to fulfill my wish to bring beauty to my
unborn child. I hope this inspires women
from all walks of life to stay healthy and
feel beautiful at any stage in their lives. I
would like to remind women especially
mothers, that your life does not stop
after having children. So it is important
to empower yourself with good health
mentally and physically to ensure hap-
piness,” says Leong.
