of hit albums. When she teased that a new albumwas in the

fter
months of guessing and several internet
leaks, the album was finally released in
March 2015 to the joy of all Madonna’s
die-hard fans who have been hungry for new
material from the Divine Miss M. The album
is a step-forward from the rather disappoint-
ing

released back in 2012.
Rebel Heart
is a delicious combo of dance music and Madonna’s signature
sound from her previous hit records, with songs produced by
Avicii, Kanye West, Ryan Tedder and Diplo.
There is a little bit of everything on the album, from the
clever use of her hit song titles in the lyrics to
Veni Vedi Vici
,
big church choir ala
Like a Prayer
on the lead single
Living For
Love
to ethnic influences in
Body Shop
, reminiscent of her

Light
days. According to the singer,
Rebel Heart
showcases both
her strong rebellious persona that her fans are most familiar
with and her more vulnerable side which shines in songs like
Wash All Over Me, HeartBreakCity
and
Beautiful Scars.
Dubbed as her best outing since 2004’s
Confessions On
The Dance Floor, Rebel Heart
is not only an album for her fans
but also the younger generation who have been listening to
the likes of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus. In case
you have not been following the career of the controversial
superstar or you are just too young to remember, here are five
of her best works that all Madonna fans (old and new) should
have in their collections.
