The place was buzzing with a really good crowd and atmosphere. I walked around,
chatting with some of the chefs that I knew and stuffing sliders in my mouth.
Everyone who attended was given a card with all the participating burger makers
listed on them. The card was then punched each time you went to a stall to get
your burger.
I was struggling by the time I had my third slider. They may have been small
but they certainly packed a punch and were very filling. Each one that I tried
was a thing of beauty on a paper plate. The flavours and creativity in each
burger was quite astounding.

Sherson Lian and DJ Blink were the judges for the night. DJ Blink
also amped up the atmosphere by providing pulse pounding tunes.
On top of the cards, everyone was also given a yellow ping-pong
ball. This was how the public voted. There were 10 large jars on a
table. Each participant had a jar labeled with their outlets name, and
the ping-pong ball went into the jar that was deemed most worthy.
myBurgerLab emerged as the winner of the People’s Choice
and the Judge’s Choice awards. It must have been a tough call
for the judges, as all the burgers were truly stunning. The war
had been won, and I slowly made my way back to my car. After
all that food, there was no way that I could have moved quickly.
