the long-awaited comeback of
the singer after a four-year hiatus.
The Hong Kong Cantopop and
Mandopop singer is also known
for his works as an actor, TV host,
model, cartoonist, MV director and
producer as well as a designer.
Leo Ku is a major figure in popular
music culture. Ku was selected as
one of the “Ten Outstanding Young
Persons of Hong Kong” in 2005 by
the Government of Hong Kong. He
is one of the fewCantopop artists
who employs the use of falsetto
and because of this, many people,
including David Tao, have praised
this unique talent.

is a holiday observed
traditionally by Buddhists on differ-
ent days in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal,
Tibet, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Indone-

and Malaysia. It is a celebration of
Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and
achievement of Nirvana.

Borneo Jazz Festival
is one of the
longest running jazz festivals in the region.
Thiswill the 11th year it is held inMiri. There
will be two nights of four performances
each by regionally and internationally
recognised jazzmusicians. Visitors going
to this cosmopolitan city of Miri can use
the day to visit the Lambir Hills or the
historical Niah National Park. If you are a
scuba diver, the dive sites in theMiri-
Sibuti Coral Reefs National Park beckon.
The nearest dive site is amere 15-minutes
away, just off the coast of the city.
