Traditional Specialities
Cooking Malaysian dishes is not easy.
It is a delicate balance of spices and
different cooking styles to achieve an
authentic flavour and the culinary team
had really nailed it. The buffet line,
which was laid out at the mezzanine
floor, looked absolutely amazing.
From freshly baked bread to curries
and rice, there was something to tan-
talise every taste bud. The smells that
were wafting from the chafing dishes
that were keeping the food warm were
heavenly and many were eager to get
started on the food.
The wide selection of food included
appetisers, salads, main courses and
desserts. “This year, I had the idea of
showcasing food from the 13 Malaysian
states, especially the flavours of Sabah
Street food ... a highlight of the buffet
