We did not know about his ‘requirements’ when deciding to
work with a band. Basically, if he likes what he hears, he will
be more inclined to produce an album. Luckily, he liked what
he heard and we were ecstatic to find out he would help us
produce our first English album.
What has it been like working with Steve Lillywhite?
Working with Steve was like hanging out with an extremely
talented uncle. We felt very close to him and learned so much.
Also, we shared many similarities, such as our outlook in life,
work ethics and most importantly, we love the same types of
music. It was a tremendously positive experience and we felt
very fortunate to have worked with him.
What’s next for Slot Machine?
Currently, we are really enthusiastic to perform and really want
to show our music to the world. We aim to participate in lots
of music festivals and tours all around the world. Actually, we
are going to three festivals in Asia this July, which is a very
good start for us. We will continue preparing ourselves to get
ready for more and more concerts. We also hope to see you
guys soon in Malaysia!
