Do you have any parting words of
wisdom to share for those who wish
to work in your industry?
Perform your job with your heart
and do it sincerely and always work
as a TEAM.
How much has your previous experience
helped you in your current role?
My previous work experience and knowl-
edge has assisted me so much in areas
such as dealing with customers, defining
the right market segment and the correct
strategies and processes in marketing a
product.
What is a typical day for an Executive
Commercial Sales like you?
After reporting to work, I go through
emails and respond to them. Then, I
will follow-up with accomplishments
of the previous day’s sales and group
confirmations. In between, I have to
attend scheduled appointments and
meet up with my customers. I also work
closely with my team to brainstorm new
ideas to bring in more sales.
What do you like the most about your
job?
I love meeting people from all walks of
life as well as proudly promoting Firefly
products. It is very satisfying whenever
I can fulfil my customers’ needs and
attend to their enquiries. Of course, it
goes without saying that closing a sale
always makes my day.
What is the most challenging part of
your job?
Whenever I can’t meet my customers’
needs due to factors beyond my control
or If I am having difficulty hitting my
sales target.
How do you manage to achieve a work-
life balance?
I always prepare a to-do list. I try my level
best to complete my work on time and at
the same time I make sure I’m reachable
whenever my client and family need me.
When I’m at home with my family, I will
cook for them. It’s my way of saying
‘thank you’ for their understanding and
patience for all the time I spend away
from them.
If you were not
the Executive
Commercial
Sales for Firefly,
what would you
probably be?
Probably teaching
in the higher insti-
tution as a lecturer.
I did received an of-
fer to pursue teach-
ing during my final
year but rejected it
as my first love was
aviation.
Have you travelled
