Gambas
, which is tiger
prawns sautéedwith sliced garlic, olive
oil, dried red chili and paprika, is highly
recommended as a starter. The prawns
are cooked to perfectionwhile retaining
the sweetness further enhanced by the
drippings of olive oil.

servedwith Argentinian potato salad and
chimichurri infused olive oil and the Beef
Carpacciowith green salad, Pampas’s
balsamic dressing and parmesan shavings
are two non-seafood options if you are
not really a huge fan of seafood. Both are

cucumber raita.
The pan fried
halibut is crispy
on the outside but
still very juicy in the inside. The sauce goes
perfectly well with the tandoori flavour
balancing the spiciness with the coolness
of the cucumber. Skip the usual wine and
order yourself a bottle of sake for a change
as Pier 21 also serves the Japanese alcohol
among other standards likewhisky, rum
and vodka.
