from?
Mainly people, when they complain about
things andwhen they feel like they are
in a safe environment to let their guard
down and really talk about how they feel
about something. Understanding the
human condition is really exciting tome
and I have come to realise that I have been
subconsciously doing it for as long as I can
remember.
Howwouldyoudescribe your
music?
The closest descriptionwould be a blend
of Neo-soul with a heart of a singer /
songwriter. The songs in this EPwere
written over the course of my seven year
relationshipwithmy girlfriend, who is
nowmy wife. It is scary to have yourmo-
ments cast in stone but themore I listen
to it, themore I amwilling to let these
moments go andmove on to better ones.
What do youdo to relax?
I play a lot of video games. Like, a lot. I
used to lead a 400manNorth American
guild in aMassivelyMultiplayer online
game calledGuildWars 2. It started to feel
like a job, so nowadays I playmainly Dota
2 andOverwatch.
You seemto favour bowties.Why
is that?
The honest answer? I want to look smart
but normal ties are too dangly.
What’s next for you?
After being donewithmy first ever solo
showcase, I amgoing to take the time
to reset and recharge before a hopefully
regional promo tour. Also I am in the
process of writing newmusic and it has
been a really inspirational year.
