Illuminate Your Holidays In Japan This Winter!

partnershipwithDJI, theworld’s leading
drone-maker, has recently launched the
luxury hotel brand’s first Drone Experi-
ence Programme. The programmewill
provide guests with the opportunity to
experiment withDJI’s innovative drone
technology. Hotel guests will view the
beauty of JWMarriott’s properties
through a newperspective, andwill be
able to capture and share these experi-
ences with friends and family.

property to debut the Drone Experience

Programme by launching the initiative in
November 2016.The programmewill en-
able guests to capture an aerial overview
of the hotel and destination by using aDJI
dronewith the help of a trainedUAV pilot.
Through the DJI Go app, they can easily
share thesemoments on social media
via live-streamto Facebook or YouTube.
With its proximity to the legendary
Anji Bamboo Forest, one of themost
renowned natural wonders in China, JW
Marriott Zhejiang Anji was selected as an
ideal pilot hotel for the Drone Experience
Programme.
Tobu
Railway Co. Ltd, the biggest private
railroad company in Kanto, Japan, offers
routes to five special winter illumination
events to spend the year-end holidays.
Limited towinter season, the displays will
run until March 2017.
The light displays are located in areas
along Tobu Railway’smassive rail network
through Tokyo and four neighbouring
prefectures. Travellers canmake their way
to Tokyo, Tochigi, Saitama, andMiyagi all
within a day or overnight trip towitness
the spectacular sights. The journey can
start fromeither Asakusa or Tokyo station.
One of the illumination events take
place at Ashikaga Flower Park in Kanto
with 3.5million lights. It is recognised as
a Japan night viewheritage sitewhere the
entire park is decoratedwith colourful
lights. As for TobuWorld Square Illumina-
tion, it is a simultaneous light-up of 102
world-famous buildings while Tobu Zoo
Winter Illumination features a parade by
real animals. Sendai Pageant of Starlight
showcases 160 zelkova trees and rows of
trees stretching for 800metres decorated
with 600,000 LED lights. Tokyo Skytree
Town sees world’s tallest tower turned
into theworld’s tallest Christmas tree
decoratedwith about 400,000 candle
colour lights giving visitors a visual treat.
