Muay Thai
We’ll be honest; Muay Thai is brutal. But
there is more to it than just punching and
kicking. Ingrained in this ancient martial
art are also important lessons of discipline,
respect, integrity, inner strength and cour-
age – plus it can be very entertaining to
watch. Catch an adrenaline-pumping bout
at the city’s famed Muay Thai stadiums,
Lumpini or Ratchadamnoen. If the kids
are up for it, you can even sign them up
for a class at the Luktupfah Camp which
is a purpose build training camp for Muay
Safari World
You really can’t go wrong with animals
and kids – and the two-in-one Safari
World has hundreds of them. Take a
45-minute drive through the Safari Park
open zoo where you can get thrillingly
close to rare and endangered animals
like lions, tigers, elephants and rhinos,
and catch a tiger and lion feeding show.
Then head next door to the Marine Park
for more animals, and a river cruise
through the jungles of Africa and Asia.
The park has themed animal exhibits like
the crocodile garden, tapir kingdom and
tropical rainforest aviary, a Jungle Walk
and Safari Terrace as well as seven daily
animal and non-animal related shows.
