in The Red Pool, hoping very hard that I
didn’t have to leave so soon. But all good
things have to come to an end. Checking
out with my next visit in mind, I took
with me an inspiring idea to have my
very own red pool at home – or rather
a red bath tub for now. Guess I will just
have to come back in the near future for
yet another stylish dive in The Red Pool,
only at The Library.

Done with exploring, it was then time
for me to check out the main reason that
attracted me to stay at The Library – the
awe-inspiring Red Pool! An inspiration to
many other red pools in the land of smiles,
The Red Pool at The Library remains
in its own league as its mosaic tiles of
orange, yellow and deep red, presents a
dazzling spectacle of brilliant colour and
sophisticated style.
With a book in hand, I parked my
holiday bum into one of the loungers by
The Red Pool for a quick read before taking
a dive. Despite the sun shining brightly,
the gentle sea breeze makes it tolerable
to be outdoors in the afternoon, making
my time in The Red Pool a pleasant one.
As the sun began to mellow down, the
beach upfront The Library is transformed
into a Beach Bar that offers daily happy
hours from5p.m. to 7p.mwith 101 unique
cocktail selections and delicious tapas
for you to indulge in at a very affordable
price – a setting that screams good food
and great ambiance, which is something
that I could never resist.
After a quick change out of my swim-
wear, I mademy way to the Beach Bar and
settled in on one of the many comfortable
beanbags on the beach, ordering my long
list of must-try cocktails, whichwas pretty
hard for me to point a finger on at the end
of the happy hour. One drink after another,
paired with good company and a breath-
taking sight of the sunset prepared me for
yet another round of jolly good time at the
Drink Gallery as I stepped in for dinner.
Breakfast the next morning was con-
veniently served in bed … on the beach!
The Breakfast Culture is one of the six
signature Original Experiences one can
endeavour at The Library. Laying on one
of the crispwhitemattresses on the beach,
just a step away from the sea, I enjoyed
the first light of dawn at Chaweng Beach
with the freshest bread and pastries onmy
table, followed by my selection from the
savoury menu.
If you’re one who couldn’t miss out
a day of your workout regime, The Fit is
a well-equipped gym for basic workout
sessions away fromhome. The Library also
offers complimentary use of kayak and
windsurfing equipment at The Beach Bar.
For a virtual workout, grab your partner
and head to The Lib for some friendly
competition on the Wii.
