What are some common mistakes and
simple action plans to followwhen losing
weight for awedding?
Beginners tend to jump into exercising
without a plan in mind. Goal-setting is
key to any exercise programme you go
into. You need to set a SMART (Specific,
Measureable, Attainable, Realistic, Time-
bound) goal. Telling yourself you want to
lose 3kg in a week helps you to envision
the ending. Having a realistic goal also
keeps you from being demotivated if you
don’t achieve it.
If you want to lose weight, do more
of cardio with a good combination of
resistance training (weight lifting). If you
are underweight, using more weights
would help you gain more muscles. You
can also seek professional help to safely
achieve a good exercise mix.
Weight loss isn’t just about losing
weight. It is more important to be fit.
