I am very fortunate to have such amazing

still here. Perhaps my music is the special
bond that connects us.
Howdifferent is your career now
compared towhenyoufirst started?
The difference is that it has been 15 years.
Time has matured me. I now knowwhat I
want in terms of music, my vocal strength
and the territory that I want to explore.
What is thebiggest andmost important
highlight of your career so far?
It has got to be my recent concert at
Dewan Philharmonik Petronas. I waited
15 years to have a major concert and the
experience was unforgettable in every
sense of the word. From the musicians
that accompanied me, the support from
the fans and media on that night; it was
truly a magical night.
Is there anything that youwould like todo
inyour career but haven’t got the chance
to reallymake it happen?
To me, 15 years in the business is not that
long as I believe there are other things that
I would like to do or could do.
Couldyoukindly sharewithus onyour
involvement as anMAC (MalaysianAIDS
Council) RedRibbonCelebrity supporter?
I’m happy to share this with you as it is
something that is important to me. In my
capacity as a Ribbon Celebrity Supporter
for MAC, my main role is to raise aware-
ness of HIV/AIDS issues with the aim to
stop stigma and discrimination towards
people living with HIV/AIDS and to also
educate people about the disease. Some
of the activities that I was involved with
include fund-raising, shelter visits and
public appearances.
