Abdullah to be where
he is today. After being
a resident artist and lecturer at LICT for
five years, Nizam decided that he needed
exposurewith gallery exhibitors. That plan
worked so well that he now has his own
company called Nizamsculpture Studio.
About the company
Having run the company for five years
now, Nizam knows that sculpture is a
new and niche market that he is tapping
into. “I need to target the right customers.
Everybody wants to be different with their
projects and design. As people are slowly

Clients usually give Nizam an idea for a
piece and he then consults with them on
the materials to be used as well as show-
ing some samples of his work for easier
reference. From there, he w creates the art
piece for the client. “It is great to see once
it is finalised, as clients wouldmore or less
have their own unique sculpture design in
their homes or restaurants.”
Every sculpturemade is very subjective
hence the timing of completion varies from
one sculpture to another. Some medium
sized sculptures could take anywhere
between take two weeks to a month to
complete.

His first ever sculpture was of a table
lampmade out of metal during his college
days. Now, Nizam not only works with
metal but also with fibreglass and wood.
Nizamsculpture Studio has designed
interiors for restaurants, cafes and shops.
Not only that, they have also worked on
logos for companies, signage, wall art,
furniture, sculptures and many more.
Nizam, who also draws and paints, has
had his paintings displayed at exhibitions
and galleries.
He has also exhibited locally and
internationally. He started “The Fighting
Rooster” sculpture series and claims that
