GERMANY:
The traditional
German breakfast sees
these highly efficient
people has them digging
into an assortment of fresh
breads, cold meats, local
cheeses, butter, and jam.
FRANCE:
The French tend
to take it a bit lighter with
their breakfast. A traditional
breakfast for them is coffee
and either a baguette or a
croissant. Like Malaysians
do, the French often dip their
buttered bread into coffee.
INDIA:
Like China,
breakfasts in India vary by
region, but you will more
than often find yourself
with a tray laden with
chutneys, dips, and breads
like dosa and chapati.
MEXICO:
The first meal of the
day for the Mexicans is often
a hearty one, with dishes like
chilaquiles (fried tortilla chips
topped with a spicy tomato
sauce and cheese) and huevos
rancheros being popular
choices. Those opting for a
lighter start to the day will go
for sweet rolls and coffee.
JAMAICA:
The Ackee is a type
of fruit which is in the same
family as the longan and lychee
and this fruit, quite surprisingly,
looks like scrambled eggs when
it is cooked. This is a favorite
Jamaican breakfast food and
is often served accompanied
with fried plantains, salted fish,
johnny cakes and fresh fruit.
