Although the name suggests that you are about to enter a
closed compound filledwith ostriches running around freely in
it, PDOstrich Farm is also home to peacocks, pheasants, jungle
fowls, monkeys and quite a number of other animals.
The ostriches are housed in open paddocks shaded by large
trees. If youwant to get close to the ostriches, you can try feeding
themwith pellets which can be bought fromthe entrance. For a
fee you can get even closer to the biggest bird species in theworld
by riding themaround a small circuit at the back for the farm.
There is also is a restaurant at the farmthat serves ostrichmeat
cuisine, which includes
satay.
Bear inmind that the place is a farm
and the ostriches are bred for commercial purposes. The entrance
fees to PDOstrich Farm is RM8 for adult and RM4 for children.
