Educational Tour For The Curious

the Skypark airport and CITTA Mall Firefly
headquarters on Nov 15, 2016. A group
of 33 students aged between nine to 14
years old and nine teachers arrived at the
airport by bus at around 2.30 pm.
The students and teachers were given a
warm welcome by Anuar Hamid, Subang
Airport Station Manager and Ali Hassan
from the Ground Safety & Security team
at the Firefly office at the airport. They
were briefed about the basics of how
an airport functions and about how the
utmost priority is given to the safety of all
passengers and staff.
They were then taken to the check-in
counters and Ali explained the impor-
tance of screening the baggage and
verifying travel documents. The highlight
of the tour for the students was watching
the planes landing and taking off from the
upper viewing gallery of the airport.
It was truly an exciting tour for the
students, especially for the special
students who were in awe when they saw
the planes arriving and departing from
